I don’t really know what is it about Pokemon that make it such a desirable target to rip off – especially if you consider how low-quality all of the Pokemon rip-offs tend to be and how demanding Pokemon fans are, by contrast – so the only people that seem to be able to like it are hipsters who don’t really want to play Pokemon but still wish to talk about them. Maybe I’m wrong but whatever, the game sucks. It doesn’t suck from being of particularly low quality – but as most of such games, sucks from the developer’s unending greed. Whatever nice concepts it tried to recreate are lost in the sea of micro-transactions that you are required to do if you want to have any sort of entertainment, without having to wait for ten minutes to do your next damn move.
